In as much as knowledge is important,I hope you are also aware that you should not be seekers of it.
As Jesus said in John 6 v 39:
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life;and it is they that bear witness about me,40 yet you refuse to come to me so that you may have life.
There's one thing I would like you to understand,that man,in his natural state is a seeker of knowledge. Thats because our strength gets multiplied through knowledge,and we think with more power we get more life.
Adam and Eve fell off from the Glory of God because of their persuit for knowledge. They later realized that their knowledge gave them limited power and limited life, compared to when they had eternal life and power from God.
The Lord sent His Son so that He could bring us back under His Grace; so that we do not have to rely on our knowledge,but rather we hold on to Faith. That's because faith is an advanced version of knowledge. According to Hebrews 11, faith is being certain of the things we do not see.
Knowledge is limited to the things we see,but faith goes beyond that,it's knowledge that is beyond this world. In other words, faith is a manifestation of the knowledge of God inside us.
Therefore it's not just any knowledge that you need,,but it's God's knowledge that brings true everlasting power and life. That's why you need to get born again,to detach yourself from your knowledge,because the power it gives you is only limited to the bounds of the world we live in.
Being born again means getting rid of our fleshly desires which also means getting rid of our desire to acquire knowledge. That's why the Lord gave us the Holy Spirit, He is the one with all the knowledge of God.
As for you,the anointing you received from Him abides in you,and you have no need for anyone to teach you;but as His anointing teaches you about all things,and is true and is not a lie,and just as it has taught you,abide in Him. 1 John 2 v 27
